For our December meet-up, we attended the Chicago Community Climate Forum at the Field Museum, where over 2,000 people gathered to commit to taking action against climate change.

This month, we hosted a holiday pop-up shop in Logan Square, where we offered zero waste items like stainless steel straws, compostable toothbrushes, reusable produce bags, and more.

In October, Patagonia invited us to lead a Compost 101 workshop at their Lincoln Park store.

We partnered with The Freehand, a hotel in downtown Chicago, to offer two free workshops in September: Zero Waste 101 and Compost 101. We loved connecting with those who came and answering questions!

For our August community event, we hosted a volunteer beach clean-up along Lake Michigan at 31st Street Beach. The 20+ folks who came gathered 35 pounds of trash and recycling!

For our July community event, we met at Monarch Community Garden for a zero waste picnic potluck. We loved the chance to get together to share dishes and enjoy summer.

For our June community meet-up, we joined up with Urban Rivers for a volunteer day, planting floating gardens to keep the Chicago river cleaner and provide habitat for wildlife.
